I can talk your ear off about The Last of Us (the game and the show) and I have two tattoos related to The Last of Us.
Piggybacking off from above—I also have a Twilight tattoo, lol.
I used to work as a background actress when I lived in Georgia.
I played a lead role in a short film just for the hell of it and have been dabbling in creative short films.
I’ve been to 39 out of 50 states.
Hey! My name is Rebekah!
When I am not working, I love cooking + baking for loved ones. My mom taught all of my siblings (four older brothers and one sister!) how to cook at a young age so we all have varying levels of talent. Personally, I think I am the best.
My mom also taught me how to sew at a young age and I have picked it up again and have been sewing a lot lately. I love thrifting and shopping for vintage pieces. When I am thrifting I’ll also frequently do “thrift-flips” and sew something to be different!
I am super into fashion and love to dress up. I’ll frequently show up over-dressed to any function, which is easy to do here in Colorado when generally people wear hiking clothes in every scenario. I try my best to show my personal fashion taste in what I wear to shoots and weddings, but also in a way that is functional for a full day of work (which can be hard to do!).
I am also a big punk rock/emo girlie. I was 100% trying to be a scene queen when I was a kid. I listen to mostly screamo/metal music and it’s always fun when my clients have the same taste in music. I also love a little bit of Sabrina Carpenter or some Ethel Cain.
You might be wondering “From the Fountain, what does that mean?”
I wanted my business name to be something that was unique to me, but that could leave room for growth. I came up with From the Fountain from a play on the translation of my last name “ de la Fontaine”.
It reminds me of the outdoors and takes me to some cascading waterfall near a lush green hillside! It’s still personal to me as it’s a play on my last name--but it doesn’t sound like a last name! And let’s be honest, it’s way easier to understand, spell, and pronounce than my actual last name.
I’m passionate about my couples and I give them my all! Every single engagement session, elopement, and wedding, I strive to make sure my couples are over the moon with not only my images, but with the experience of being photographed. I want you to leave the shoot not wanting it to end, with your belly hurting from laughing so much, and like you just got done visiting one of your best friends.
I'll be there to hold your flowers and your dress or pin your boutonnière and spruce up your suit jacket.
I'll be there to crack dad jokes while we hike up a mountain.
I'll be there every step of the way to take any stress of wedding planning off of you.
And I'll be here to encourage any and all ideas you have to make your elopement day an amazing experience for the two of you.
