Date Night Couples Session at a Bar | Candid Pool Hall Photos
Nothing is as great as an engagement session that doesn’t feel like an engagement session. I get it, sometimes getting your photos taken feels really weird and foreign. Maybe you’re a couple who has had zero photos taken together before and maybe you’re a nervous. Your couples session or engagement session doesn’t have to feel posed and forced. Which is why I love suggesting to my couples that they incorporate doing something that they love together!
The sky is the limit and there’s no such thing as “too wild” of an idea. Think of it more like a date night.
Playing arcade games or games like pool, darts, cornhole, or air hockey
Visiting your favorite record shop + going back to your house for a cozy indoor session
Go bowling or mini golfing
Make cookies together
Go to your favorite fast food chain — taco bell or in-n-out (or whatever you fancy)
Ice skating
Drive in movie theatre
F*ck it—go sky diving together!
For this session we went to a local bar in Fort Collins, Colorado called Trailhead Tavern and had an absolute blast!
