They strolled over to Via Vecchia, one of Portland’s hidden gems. It’s a super charming restaurant with an old-world Italian flair, and the bar? Oh, the bar. Picture cozy booths, moody lighting—it was a vibe.

After drinks, our couple made the best decision and hit up High Roller Lobster Co. If you know, you know—this place has some of the most insane lobster rolls you’ll ever taste.

Can you picture it? Our newlyweds, cozied up with lobster rolls and oysters. What’s more “Maine” than that? They savored every bite, laughed, and lived in the moment, surrounded by Portland’s bustling charm. This is how you do Maine, people!

GETTING KICKED OUT OF A PARKING LOT

Oh, and let’s not forget the rooftop! These two took their vows to the next level—literally—on a rooftop parking lot with stunning views of Portland’s skyline. It was romantic, spontaneous, and so perfectly them.

Half way through their vows security showed up! Luckily, they were kind enough to let these two finish their vows before we moved on. But honestly, it just added to the adventure. How many people can say they exchanged vows and got booted off a rooftop? It’s all part of the story, right?

Adventurous Engagement Session: Exploring the Pacific NorthWest

Hey there, fellow adventurers and wanderlust enthusiasts! Let's go on a journey through the stunning landscapes of the Pacific Northwest with one of my favorite couples. Picture this: a whirlwind three-day engagement session filled with beaches, forests, cliffside views, and epic photos that perfectly capture the essence of their love story. These two adventured all the way from Arizona to capture their engagement session in one of my favorite places in the country—the PNW.

Fern Canyon

On the first day, we set our sights on Fern Canyon, a place straight out of a fairy tale. With its lush greenery and trickling streams, it felt like stepping into another world. Did you know they filmed Jurassic Park here? And once you step foot in this incredible spot, you can totally see we! Kass + Gray wandered hand-in-hand through the moss-covered walls of the canyon and got their feet wet to see one of my all time favorite locations.

Redwoods National Park

Next, we visited more of the Redwoods National Park, where the air is crisp and the trees are chonky. Kass + Gray were in love with this whole area. They said they had never seen any place like it and said it was hands-down their favorite place they’ve ever been to! As your friendly guide and photographer, I had the privilege of capturing their love story against some of Mother Nature's most impressive backdrops.

We ventured through the ancient redwood groves, where the sun filtered through the towering trees, casting a magical, dappled light. Kass + Gray embraced, danced, and laughed, making every moment feel as enchanting as the surroundings.

BROOKINGS, OREGON

For our final day, we hit the beach for some fun in the fog. The tide had receded so far that we had the privilege of witnessing a thriving underwater world—starfish, sea anemones, and curious crabs. Kass + Gray played like kids, splashing and giggling as the ocean lapped at their feet.

Just when we thought the adventure couldn't get any better, the fog got even crazier, creating tho most epic moody atmosphere.
