A Very Denver Courthouse Elopement | From the Fountain
Why not play tourist in your own city? These two did exactly that. When this couple pictured their wedding day, they pictured something stress-free and something that focuses more on their marriage than the wedding day itself.
These two decided to picture what their perfect day looked like. We started at the Byron White Courthouse where they shared their handwritten vows on the steps with their pup as their witness. One of my favorite parts about wedding days is sometimes being the only other person that gets to hear their promises to each other. I have been lucky enough to witness such deep, intimate love between two people and this day was no exception. Both of them we’re crying, I was crying, I think I even saw their puppy shed a tear.
From there we began to run around the city and hit up all their favorite spots. We first stopped at their hotel in Union Station , The Crawford, to get those fun flash hotel shots. In the middle of taking photos, someone who worked there did come up to tell us (very nicely, I have to say) we weren’t allowed to use flash. Whoops. 😅 So, if you’re looking to do this, make sure you don’t use any flash, or just stick to flash in your hotel room itself!
And of course, when in Union Station, we had to stop for a celebratory drink at The Cooper Lounge. After that we made a pitstop at the Ball Arena for a photo-op with their custom Nuggets jerseys saying “Mr + Mrs”. Which ended up getting me a shoutout from The Nuggets themselves on my Tiktok.
Truly a wedding day to remember. Short and sweet + perfectly them.
